  La Crucecita Catholic Church Of Santa Cruz Cuauhtemoc Brewery
The Tecate brewery is what put Tecate on the map. Visitors can also tour through the Cuauhtemoc Brewery were the TECATE beer is brewed, one of the biggest in the country. Take a guided tour of the famous Tecate Brewery. Tasting at the beer garden plus a souvenir shop ends this interesting look into making beer south of the border. Tours are given on Saturday mornings. Beer garden open Tues. - Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Mexican Turtle Sanctuary Guadalupe Hotsprings
Offers a running stream and a variety of primitive (hose-fed from local springs) hot baths and camping; the area is popular with Tecate locals. Rock-rimmed hot tubs filled with sparkling-clear geothermal mineral water. Cascading waterfalls, ancient Indian caves and endless opportunities for hiking create a paradise in Baja's desert.
La Rumorosa La Rumorosa
On the highway to Mexicali lies the beauty of La Rumorosa’s boulders and Cañón de Guadalupe with its cave paintings. Located in the North end of the State, the Rumorosa is a ecological zone with gigantic rocky formation which cause incredible natural landscapes, and a singular brisk of wind, which characteristic humming gives the name to this zone.
Parque Hidalgo Parque Hidalgo
The main square (zocalo) in Tecate is Parque Hidalgo. It's a great place to stroll around and meet people. Parque Hidalgo is lined with several restaurants and shops. It's only a few blocks from the border, shady, with benches and a gazebo bandstand. The main square is the center point for several festivals throughout the year.
Tecate Train Museum Pacific Southwest Railway Museum
The rail line was built in 1915 and the area between the two tunnel entrances later caved in. The San Diego Railroad Museum offers seasonal, weekend trips from Campo, CA to Tecate. You'll have a couple hours to stroll through Tecate and the trip includes a Tecate Brewery tour. Their are several old trains to explore and some decomissioned ones.

Wineries in Tecate
Northern Baja, and especially the area south of Tecate, are the center of Mexico's wine production. The valleys of Guadalupe and Santo Tomas offer almost perfect weather and growing conditions. Most wineries offer tours with the majority located in the Valle de Guadalupe between Ensenada and Tecate on Highway 3. Tecate is the gateway to Baja California's wine country.
